How do I work out my calves, glutes, hamstrings, and quads? I want to get faster at running the 50m sprint, and I've heard that I should train my calves, glutes, hamstrings, and quads but I don't know how to get them strong. I would like to know the ways to get them strong without using any pills or equipments (like sit-ups, which doesn't require any materials). Thanks.
What is the best training exercises or program to bulk up my glutes? I've done all the toning exercises that I can find for glutes. However, I'm looking for something to really add muscle to my glutes. I have a pretty narrow lower half (boyish hips), so I'm looking to give myself more curves on the back end (if it's possible). I will work as hard as I can to give myself a more feminine shape. Any other information or tips would be appreciated.
How do you tone glutes so that there isn't any sagging on you butt? I have this bit of fat/skin of some kind that I want to get rid of right under my glutes. How can I get rid of it? I have a mini trampoline and ankle weights. Are there any exercises I can do with those to help? How do you use your glutes and not hip flexor? at my dance class on saturday we spent the whole time working on using our butt & thigh muscles and not hip flexors, since thats how your supposed to do. i thought i was doing well, but the next day i could really feel it... only in the hip flexors. does anyone have any advice on how to focus in on using the glutes and NOT the flexors- like exercises or things to imagine? because when i tighten my legs and glutes etc i can't NOT tighten the hip flexors as well. its a problem.
What exercises target directly on the glutes? I REALIZE cardio, water diet & all that extra good stuff are imperative to achieving results. Why do my glutes and abs feel like I have been working them all week? I haven't been working out in the gym for over 6 months and I rarely do my regular routine of push ups and crunches and haven't done them recently. How can I maximize my glutes? ok so I'm 5'1, black, and I already have a nice build but I don't want to keep gaining mass weight to have my butt grow. How long till I will see improvement in my Glutes? I just recently lost about 15lbs. and never realized that most of my rear end was fat, not muscle. I went from having a nice butt, to no butt. If I focus on working my Glute muscles five days a week with diet, how long will it take to see major improvement. Can I firm my glutes and thighs in one week? I'm not talking about major weight loss, just a little tone. I am 5' 1'' and 116 lbs so my weight is fine.
