What's the best training for building gluteal muscles?

Is bike riding a good gluteal muscle group builder? Are lunges a good gluteal muscle group builder? I know squats are.

  2. As you said, lounges are decent, but SQUATS are the ultimate, esp if you want to grow larger gluts, use heavier weights. Just be careful or get a spot
  3. Stairs are really good. Anything that makes you put your leg straight (not bent). Riding a bike would work. Lunges work more your quads, but the action of getting up again works your glutes.

  5. Squats are great for building the gluts, and lunges are pretty good too. One thing to try to really target the gluts is to do leg presses with your feet close together on the pad. Go all the way down and back up. This targets your gluts and hamstrings more and uses your quadriceps less. Also, deadlifts and stiff leg deadlifts work well too.
